The Institute ICANNA is committed to connecting, deepening and disseminating knowledge and is constructively engaged in guidance, clarification, mentoring and assistance to young researchers. The experts of the Institute participate in various processes of transferring current knowledge also as mentors, tutors, supervisors etc.

The purpose and objective of the project

Young researchers are full of ideas, enthusiasm and are constantly faced with various challenges. Different forms of mentoring are necessary for successful conclusions of various projects, transferring knowledge into practice and developing expertise and professionalism. With the help of mentoring young people generally have a smoother path to reach the solutions in the research they have engaged in. The process of transferring knowledge between generations and to less experienced, is fulfilling also for the mentor that is in constant contact with fresh ideas, energy, knowledge and positive ways of thinking.

Did you know?

The transfer of knowledge in the form of mentoring has a long history. According to the legend, Menthor was an experienced and trusted friend and guide to Odyssey. On his departure to the Trojan War, Odysseus asked him for his son's upbringing. Even the extraordinary thinkers Socrates, Plato and Aristotle were aware of the importance of transferring knowledge from older or more experienced to younger or less experienced.
